Hormozgan - Bandar-e Jask 2019. Consecutive droughts have transformed the Jask County at the seaside of Oman Sea in the eastern regions of Hormozgan province in Southern Iran, which have been semi-desert and dry, into endless deserts. The global warming of the earth, the reduction of rainfall, rocky and mountainous villages, the lack of penetration of groundwater into hard land, the extreme use of very low water reserves, most of the province's green areas get dry.

Due to the drought, animal husbandry and agriculture have been eliminated and their lives have been endangered in rural areas.

Over 400 families in 21 villages of Jask are surrounded by flowing sands. The villages that were buried under the flood of flowing sand and inhabitants left their homes and migrated to cities.

There is no bread for eating and no water for drinking. Drought is a disturbing dream that has been unwillingly came true. A nightmare that has prevented us to sleep at the dim half of the night and it has burnt our body in fever and fantasy.
